How does St. Edward’s University Professional Education Center correspondence work?Register online, download your books, have them shipped to you for a fee, or pick them up here at the school, then study your materials. Next, login to your account and take your 100% online practice and final exams. Upon successful completion of your online test, your certificate of completion can be printed immediately. The whole process typically takes less than 2 weeks.
Why does the site say “brought to you by St. Edward’s Professional Education Center?”
Our partner in correspondence education, St. Edward’s Professional Education Center, actually provides the completion credit for your correspondence course. The reason for this is that only colleges and universities can provide credit for courses not taught in a classroom.
How long does it take to receive my books?
You can choose to have your books in a PDF/E-Book that you can download immediately OR we will ship them to you OR you can come pick them up at our offices at 8828 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78758. Books are typically shipped the next business day after your purchase of a course. They are shipped via US Postal mail and generally take between 5 to 7 business days to arrive.
Can I pick up my books?
Yes, when you register for your correspondence courses and choose the textbook format, you have the option to either pick up your books or to have them shipped to you.
If I sign up the day before my renewal is due, is this enough time to complete the course?
We do not recommend this. You can pick up the books, cram the course and take the test, but it is unlikely you will be able to pass the exam in the allotted chance.

Online Texas Real Estate Courses
How do 30 hour Online courses work?You register online and complete all course work online. You will complete quizzes throughout the course and then take a 60 question final examination at the end of the course. Upon successful completion of your online test, you may print out your completion certificate and send to the Texas Real Estate Commission. How do Online MCE courses work?
You register online, complete a series of short lessons and fax, or email, your reporting form to The Institute. We report your credit to TREC. A 15 hour Online MCE typically takes less than 2 days to complete.
Do I get a certificate for MCE?
No. After you fax your reporting form to us, we handle all the TREC reporting. You can call to confirm that your completion certificates have been received at 1-800-487-1757.
